Los Cristianos harbour is situated between two sandy beaches close to the town centre,
where numerous boat excursions and ferry crossings to the neighbouring islands can be
booked.
In addition to the poolside bar, there are several excellent restaurants and bars on the
Paloma Beach complex, where a wide variety of cuisine can be enjoyed should you wish to
eat locally. Should you wish to eat in your apartment, there are two well stocked
supermarkets within 2 minutes, the one across the road being Iceland with a wide choice of
British foods.
Many of the international restaurants and bars in Los Cristianos have their own
entertainment in the evening.
One of the most spectacular vistas is from the peak of Mount Teide, the highest mountain
in Spain, situated in the centre of the volcanic island of Tenerife. From here it is possible
to see at least five of the seven Canary Islands. We have our own resident sightseeing
expert in Captain John, who can be found daily round the poolside. After many years living
on Tenerife,he is able to offer advice and arrange many excursions to suit your
requirements, water park, parrot park, boat trips to the dolphins and whales etc., and
many more.
A large market is held each Sunday on an area designated alongside the Arona Gran
hotel, by the sea front some 250 metres or so from Paloma Beach.
There is a municipal golf course on the outskirts of Los Cristianos with a further 4 courses
within a taxi ride for the keen golfer.
